Job Description

Adecco are looking for a manufacturing operative to join a family run manufacturing company in Peterborough. This role is suitable for someone who is comfortable working within a team and who has experience in an assembly role - experience in welding orfabrication is a bonus.You will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke components for transformers and some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working in various stages of the production chain, including winding, laminating, terminating and test/inspection
  • Following production sheets
  • Contributing to the general housekeeping within the factory
Experience working within a factory or manufacturing environment is essential to be considered for this position.The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn new skills and accept new challenges, be reliable with good timekeeping, have the capability to work independently, as well as part of a team and take pride in producing a high-quality product.In return for the above responsibilities, you will be offered the below benefits:
  • Regular Monday to Friday 8-hour daytime shifts
  • Christmas to New Year shutdown
  • Full on-site training
  • 20 annual holidays + bank holidays
