Job Description

Job Title: Management Accountant - Group ReportingLocation: UK- Peterborough Hybrid£28 - 35k plus benefitsOverview:This role, reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, is responsible for collating inputs and commentary from accountants across the business to help produce monthly flash/KPI reporting at a Group level.The reports produced are sent to the Executive Directors, investors and lenders to provide an update on the Groups business performance.Responsibilities:

  • Project manage the delivery of required inputs from legal entity accounting teams across the business.
  • Review inputs and check for data errors and/or omissions
  • Sense check commentary for accuracy and consistency with numbers and prior periods
  • Consolidate the inputs into the central Flash/KPI file and provide group overlay commentary
  • Circulate draft outputs to business heads for review and sign off
  • Distribute reports to senior stakeholders for review and comment
  • Establishing and developing relationships with other finance teams within the group, management and business heads both onsite and remotely.
Qualifications:
  • Part or newly qualified accountant
  • Management reporting in a large business
  • Ability to deliver results while maintaining control and quality
  • Close attention to detail where required
  • Drive and enthusiasm to ensure they succeed in achieving fixed and demanding deadlines
  • Commitment and flexibility to work to tight and demanding deadlines
  • P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow knowledge
