The role is both office andproduction based within a production/manufacturing environment at our Manufacturing Centre in Peterborough and offers a variety of tasks as the candidate develops. This is a career opportunity for someone self-motivated who doesnt mind taking on new challengeswith each day being different.This role is primarily Admin based with links to Logistics, Stock Control; Health and Safety and Sales. Candidate must be able to work independently and prioritise own workload once established directly reportable to office management.Candidate is to ensure BOM packs are efficiently managed and liaise with department heads and seniors to ensure parts ordered and lead-times communicated.Purpose:- Preparation of production BOMs (Bill of Materials) Understand Admin Systems with day to day responsibilities Building of stock control systems, oversee receipt/allocation of stock Development and maintenance of documents within management systems to assist in smooth running of the production department Role expansion with support from Sales and Technical Sales support for standard products at outset with independent development within customer base. Assist in development of online presence Despatching goods from Encore system, generating custom rating labels Understanding of product to support BOM selection and sales knowledge Direct contribution to maintenance of Health and Safety Management System and with ISO9001 compliance and auditing. Assist with maintenance and development of procedures / safe working practices Assist with Staff Training + Records / Machinery check lists / Toolbox TalksCandidates should have the following:- Admin Experience (Essential), Sales Experience (Preferred). Experience working within a production/factory environment (Preferred). Willingness to Learn and keen to accept new challenges. Desire to expand knowledge and push self to improve. Be able to work diligently, independently and accurately with minimal supervision.
