Job Title: LEV Engineer Location: Peterborough, Home Counties.Salary / Benefits £30k - £40k +Training +BenefitsLevel of Experience: Trainee LEV Engineer through to Lead LEV EngineerProfile: Our client, who provides yearly LEV testing, servicing and maintenance services to heavy industry, manufacturing and education clients across the UK have a new opening for an experienced LEV Engineer. Engineers must hold the P601 and have excellentworking knowledge of HSG258 guidelines, capable of testing dust and extraction systems, undertake basic remedials/ fault finding, fan and filter changes. Applications will be considered from: Huntingdon, Wellingborough, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Biggleswade, Hitchin, Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Stevenage, Luton, Harlow.Experience & Qualifications: " At a minimum will hold the P601 and will have experience working hands on within the LEV industry. " Holding the P602 would be beneficial to the role but not essential. " Will be well versed in relevant HSG258 guidelines. " Excellent IT, communication and organisational skills are essential to the role. The Role:" Working on Manufacturing, Heavy Industry and Education sites carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing on various extraction systems. " Assessing systems for general wear and tear, finding faults and carrying out basic remedials/ repairs. " Fan and filter changes. " Producing detailed reports for clients and providing advice to on site contacts. " Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines. " Continuing to build and maintain excellent rapport with clients / colleagues.
