The Role & Key Responsibilities Job title: Knowledge ManagerLocation: Peterborough (Hybrid option, office based 1-2 times per week)Do you have a broad understanding of different principles, techniques and tools used to manage knowledge across multiplepersona Are you an experienced Knowledge Manager who enjoys writingtechnical procedures, processes or instructions in a Service Delivery environment If so, we may have the ideal role for you!We have a brand new opportunity to recruit a Knowledge Managerto join our ABF Shared Service Centre (SSC) to be responsible for the effective management of knowledge which will enable the SSC businesses, end users, and employees with the most up-to-date and relevant knowledge regarding processes, policies and IT products,ensuring that knowledge is identified, created, easily accessible, and maintained.What you will be doing:

• Establish and implement the SSC knowledge management framework, policy and processes
• Evaluate the effectiveness and continuously improve the knowledge management framework, policy and processes
• Ensure adherence to Knowledge Management governance
• Manage the flow of knowledge across the SSC and its stakeholders
• Advise and train the SSC and its stakeholders on how to use and maintain knowledge effectively
• Regularly audit the quality and currency of knowledge articles, procedures and processes
• Facilitate the identification and creation of new knowledge or update existing knowledge to ensure it remains relevant
• Support the upskilling of the organisation by coordinating Technical Training (e.g. ITIL, Prince 2 etc.)
• Establish best practices and recommendations for the use of the knowledge repositories.
• Manage and continuously improve the SSC knowledge repositories
• Own, manage and control access to KIM (the SSC’s SharePoint based Knowledge and Information Management System)

What you will bring:

• Broad understanding of the principles, tools and techniques for managing knowledge across multiple personas
• Experience in a similar role writing technical procedures, processes or instructions in a Service Delivery environment
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to formulate technical procedures in non-technical language
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels internal and external to the organisation
• Ability to deliver Knowledge Management training
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work within a team and individually
• Microsoft SharePoint skills ( such as create file storage structures & flowcharts, update site content and maintain site functionality)

It would be desirable if you:

• Are degree educated
• Have ITIL certification level 4
• Are familiar with KCS
