Job Description

Emcor are looking for a Junior HR Officer to join their Anglian Water & British Sugar contract on a full time permanent basis. Salary: Up to £31,000 + Monthly Car Allowance Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (Potential for Hybrid working)

  • Providing first level advice and guidance on HR Policies and procedures, employment law and employee relations issues with the guidance of the HR Officer as required. This may include Trade Union relationships.
  • Ensure the provision of appropriate, timely and accurate management information to support strategy development, management decision making and improve the effectiveness of HR Services as and when required
  • Absence Management
  • Maintain accurate and timely holiday/sickness records and all associated activities
  • Support management team with HR Policy and Procedures
  • Support Central HR in preparing/providing information as required
  • Ensure Data Cleanse is undertaken monthly
  • Monthly HR Reporting, such as Bradford Factor, Starters, Leavers, Probations, Open ended absence, RTW’s
  • Assist management with note taking for HR meetings
  • Promote HR initiatives as required
  • Maintain and update training matrix/records
  • Support HR BP and HR Department with project work as required
  • Any other reasonable duties
Person Specification:
  • Operational HR experience supporting managers in all aspects of HR
  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience in HR reporting
  • Able to demonstrate meeting targets and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • Understanding of GDPR
  • Travel required to support other sites as required
