As a BusinessAnalyst you will be responsible for gathering requirements, proposing, and defining solutions as well as assisting with testing and delivering in conjunction with Project Managers. Key responsibilities and Accountabilities: Working closely with the Project Manager and Systems Developers you will work within the projects team analysing requirements and producing system specifications for scheme implementations. Have an understanding of Pension Benefit/Wealth/Investments schemes and products. Although product can always be taught but some prior knowledge would be preferable. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying trueneeds. Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers and colleagues to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artefacts as needed: Business Requirements Document, Screen and Interface designs. Develop high level specifications through translation of requirements in order to be developed by the Development Team. Drive business process redesign, to ensure regulatory and financial compliance. Conduct testing of processes and systems as well as liaising with customers and users to conduct user acceptance testing. Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managersKnowledge and Skills:Prior experience as a Junior BA is required, preferably at least 6 months experience in role Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Very good Excel skills and data integrity Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts A pro-active, positive, self-starting and self-motivated approach is essential for this role with a good working knowledge Experience in the financial technology industry (ideally relating to web platforms) would be an advantageTake charge of your career and apply now!
