Job Description

Clipper Logistics is one of the leading retail fulfilment businesses in the UK, with ability and agility at our core, our cutting edge operations allows us to provide world class customer service to customers such as John Lewis, River Island, Marks & Spencerand PrettyLittleThing.comWe have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Inventory Analyst, to join our site in Peterborough working with a great team and working with a major UK retailerThis role will will book overseeing the reporting & analytics, for an e-commerce and retail customers using advanced analytics and demand planning principlesKey Accountabilities of the role:

  • Analysing stock flow patterns and reacting accordingly
  • Monitor the performance and results of forecasting and stocking policies by reporting key metrics such as availability, stock turnover, non-working stock.
  • Adjust forecasting and inventory parameters for existing parts
  • Working cross functionally to deliver results in line with the customer first principles
  • Use of sophisticated analytical tools/skills and various IT systems & WMS Systems
  • Reporting and Controlling the validity of physical Inventory balances
  • Root cause and mitigate Inventory balance issues
  • Processing Inventory Audit results
  • Communicating, answering, and offering support to any stock related queries from stores
  • Communicate with Operations Team regarding deviations from authorised inventory related business processes
Person Specification / Skills -
  • Previous inventory analysing experience essential
  • Experience of using a WMS ideally JDA
  • An excellent understanding of MS Excel, is essential
  • An individual who has working experience of Inventory Classification, inventory forecasting, stocking level strategies, EOQ planning, safety stock planning.
