* Open to Big 4 leavers or career auditorsPeterborough/ Remote:- As Internal Audit Manager - EMEA, You will be joining a truly international business renowned for developing staff and offering long and diverse careers.The opportunity is open to either career Internal Auditors, or those seeking a first or 2nd move from a BIG4 accounting firm and subsequent moves into more general senior finance positions.As far as entry routes into industry and commerce from the Big 4 go, in my unbiased view! this one of the best Internal audit opportunities available and has a plethora of wider accounting opportunities.You will liaise with a diverse range of senior stakeholders (many at director level) and will have the flexibility to structure your time as you see fit to complete the tasks.ABOUT THE ROLEThe role of Internal Audit Manager - EMEA is an autonomous and substantial Internal Audit Manager role, reporting directly to the Global Head of Audit.The role holder will take full ownership of the internal audit plan within the EMEA region, being responsible for the end-to-end process including risk assessment, planning, delivery, reporting and follow up with all businesses across the region. The role willmanage key relationships across two divisions to the most senior levels in the business.TRAVELWhilst travel to sites across the EMEA region are currently on hold, it is expected that oncethe world returns to normal; you will spend circa 50% of your time visiting predominately European locations.The business has transitioned to more upfront audit preparation, thus reducing time on site for each audit.SUITABLE APPLICANTSYou will be an auditor with proven technical ability and experience of working in a Big 4 accounting firm currently or in the past.Experience of working in the manufacturing, FMCG or Food & Beverage industries would be an advantage, along with international experience.
