Job Description

Circa £35k, salary dependent on skills & experience per annum Full time/37 hrs a week/permanent Location: Peterborough & Homeworking Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you with hybrid working, with an average of 2 days a week in the office as required. Your base location will be in Thorpe Wood House in Peterborough.Make every drop of your potential count. Join our team! We currently have an exciting new position for an Insights Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis.This role will utilise a new risk and AI-powered analytics platform, applying learning gleaned from our past projects and portfolios, to tackle future risks before they become issues. It is key in supporting the Portfolio Management Office to facilitatethe predictable delivery of our growing Capital Investment Programme.The Insights Analyst will have strong analytical skills and be able to interpret data to highlight key areas of note and summarise for stakeholders to enable targeted decisions.With a core focus on data quality and customer service, it is essential the role holder has a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures, with a very keen eye for detail, whilst also being collaborative, approachable and able to articulatetheir findings coherently.What youll be doing:

  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate insights to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Amalgamate data streams, building data relationships from multiple corporate systems
  • Create customised insight reports based on business user requests and requirements
  • Ensure that the outputs from our new AI tools are embedded into monthly reporting cycles across our portfolio of projects
  • Analyse data to identify trends, faults and future impacts
  • Continuous improvement and quality review of the insights tool and outputs.
  • Work with planners and system users to ensure the data used for insights is correct and appropriate

What does it take to be successful
  • Degree with an analytics focus or equivalent experience
  • Technical expertise producing professional business reporting
  • Experience of data extraction in a corporate environment
  • Strong organisational and administration abilities
  • Experience of Anglian Water IT systems particularly TDW, C55, P6 and SAP
  • Highly computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal)
  • Data handling
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical skills
  • Experienced manipulator of different data sets including performance data for efficient use to benefit the business
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective data management
