This role is being advertised by Savills Management Resources (SMR) a wholly owned entity of Savills (UK) Limited but a separate employing entity which is not accredited by Real Living Wage Foundation.Purpose of the RoleThe cleaners primary role is to ensure the assignment is clean and hygienic for the general public. Cleaners need to make sure there are no hazards that could put the general public in danger. You will need to be able to respond to any situations in atimely manner.Key ResponsibilitiesTo carry out all allocated cleaning tasks as per the sites cleaning specification ensuring that: Refuse is collected from waste bins and not allowed to overflow. Remove all food and liquid spillages as soon as they are reported or found. Clean all internal, external and public areas within the Centre and Car Park. Remove dust and debris from mats and carpets by suction cleaning and machine washing as necessary. Remove dust from all surfaces within reach. Machine scrub floors. Machine scrub external floor areas as necessary. Jet wash external areas as necessary. Be aware of and use the appropriate equipment for the specific cleaning task. Carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Line Manager.The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization.Skills, Knowledge and Experience The PersonCandidates will be required to demonstrate the following:Essential1. Experience in the provision of cleaning services in a busy environment visited by members of the public.2. Able to demonstrate a good level of customer service.3. Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.4. Honest and reliable work ethic.5. Well presented.6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.7. Able to work in both/internal and external environments.8. Willingness to partake in further onsite training.9. Flexible working approach to work patterns.Desirable1. Basic Knowledge of H&S legislation.2. Body fluids trained.Working Hours16 hours various days
