Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a large global company based in Peterborough, who are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Specialist.Working at Group level across 7 businesses you will be responsible for collection of all health and safety, risk, and sustainability data, providing reporting across the groups to support the implementation of international, regional local projects.You will be responsible for: -

  • Data and reporting - developing and improving the collection, analysis and reporting of all HSE performance data. Providing monthly and yearly reporting at Group level.
  • KPI support - acting as central point of contact for all HSE KPIs, supporting business decisions and reporting frameworks.
  • Advice and Support - ensuing all HSE teams have information and profession advice to support the delivery of HSE compliance, mitigation, and control strategies.
  • Policies - ensuring HSE polices are up to date across divisions.
  • Targets - lead development of robust targets and metric to drive HSE improvements.
  • Support - on-site project teams regarding implementation of HSE/Sustainability projects.
You will need to: -
  • Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in an HSE role.
  • NEBOSH Health & Safety Diploma
  • IEMA Qualified
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives would be an advantage.
We are looking for a candidate with strong communications skills with the ability to build relationships across the divisions. Someone with a passion for sustainability or looking to move into this area would be an advantage.This is a hybrid role working out of our clients Peterborough office 3 days a week, benefits include: --
