Head of Purchasing and Supply ChainPhotocentric Ltd is a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Phoenix, USA. Three times Queens Award winners one for export and twice for innovation, we have invented a patented new method of 3D printingand manufacture 3D printers, resins and craft products that are exported all over the world. We are now combining these innovations to mass manufacture parts across a wide variety of industries and our need to manufacture increased volumes has created a newrole Head of Purchasing and Supply Chain.As the Head of Purchasing and Supply Chain you must be able to deliver operational excellence and manage the whole business Supply Management and purchasing for our UK and US business to ensure continued growth and strategic performance.Key responsibilities of the Head of Purchasing and Supply Chain:

• Lead procurement processes including the development and implementationofplans which manage costs, increase accuracyofpurchases, and resolve issues with suppliers and accounts payable for both the UK and US
• Review currentsupplychains assessing their efficiencies and making changes to support our business strategies which are subject to new and changing market conditions
• Work with strategic suppliers to support excellent customer service levels whilst optimising stock levels
• Evaluate the service levels required across the business and introduce a corresponding vendor measurement system to rate and improve suppliers
• Create strategies to manage costs, deliver the initiatives and report the performance to the business
• Develop forecasting and demand management techniques across all areas of the business
• Manage purchasing processes consistent with ISO procedures, legality and integrity.
• Manage and develop a small team
• Identify the cost and supply chain drivers across all managed commodities, and develop partnerships with strategic suppliers.
• Manage supplier contracts and create purchasing contracts, where applicable
• Evaluate business needs and commodity markets to create and take ownershipofa company stock holding policy.
• Hold regular business review meetings with key suppliers to measure and improve performance in all areas
• Manage goods inwards, storage and logistics across a multi site operation

Skills & Experience required of ourHead of Purchasing and Supply Chain:

• Extensive supply chain and purchasing experience in a manufacturing or engineering business
• Ideally experience on centralising a procurement function and managing a purchasingteam would be a distinct advantage.
• Good understanding of engineered components and / or chemicals
• Ideally experience of purchasing for the USA market and dealing with suppliers around the world
• Commercial leadership with good understanding of supplier contracts
• Knowledge of quality proceduresISO 9001:2015, AQAP 2015 and similar
• High level of analytical and negotiation skills
• Team leadership experience
• Ability to create and deliver a strategy
• MCIPS or similar professional qualification
• Import and Export experience
