FLT Driver - Peterborough - Competitive hourly ratesMy client, one of the worlds largest construction equipment manufacturers, is currently looking for a number of FLT Drivers to join on 12 month Fixed Term Contracts during a period of real growth. This role position works both independently and as part ofa team that drives towards a world class facility environment with robust manufacturing processes and systems.Key Job Responsibilities for this position include:*Operating manual handling equipment.*Container sorting and packaging consolidation, manual lifting may be required.*Unloading / Loading material on internal & external trailers / containers.*Ability to read and follow standard work and workplace manuals.*Adhere to PPE and H&S requirements and completing of daily start of shift safety checksRequired Qualifications and Experience:*Recent experience driving Manual handling Equipment.*Previous experience working as a Counterbalance FLT Driver*ITSAAR, RTITB, AITT and NPORS, accrediting bodies associations are all accepted with an in-date certificate or a refresher certificate.The ideal candidate will have high energy, initiative, drive and motivation along with a creative ability. Must be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude to take ownership of issues / deliver sustainable improvements and be an effective team player.
