Our station portfolio also includes one of worlds fastest growing stations talkRADIO and the recently launched Times Radio, with its groundbreaking format for a speech station.Your Role: As Finance Manager, your role will be an essential part of the London and Peterborough Management Accounting team, reporting directly into the Head of Finance - Wireless in London.Your team:Your team will consist of 2 direct reports and 3 indirect reports across Ireland. Also due to cross locational reporting there is daily oversight of the 2 other wireless team members in Peterborough working closely with the london finance manager. Your role will require you to:Have full ownership and understanding of all the work you and your team doHelp develop those within your team, ensuring your team members all receive regular and constructive feedback, helping them achieve their best in their rolesProvide strategic direction to the teamSet team objectives and priorities, ensuring that these are communicated, monitored and delivered to planDay to day you will:Ownership of weekly and monthly results, including commentary to the Wireless HOF/CEO/CFO and monthly results meetings with News UK stakeholders.Ownership of all US reporting and working closely with the News UK group reporting team.Ownership of all balance sheet recs, including analysis, flagging risks/opportunities and Blackline sign off.Preparation, submission and delivery of budget and outlooks for NI/ROI/Digital Services and all group areas of the wireless P&L.Oversight of central costs Budgets/Forecast and the allocations across the Wireless P&L’s.Consolidation and review of full Wireless P&L budget and outlooks with the other finance manager before presentation to Wireless HOF/CFO and CEO.Position management, including rolling forecast management, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, and long term plan submission.Work closely with Shared Service centre to ensure all Vendor/Customer billing is correctTM1 Group process owner - Version setups/Forecast rollovers/cube managementFocus on strategy and development of your department and team.Identify risk areas/process improvements and implement improvements.What we’re looking for from you:We’re looking for someone qualified with comprehensive post qualified experience.
