This isnt a forever role and its expected you will move into a wider finance position in 18-24monthsThe position exists to lead finance compliance processes particularly in respect of SOX, external financing and delegation of authorities. You will enjoy understanding how a business works and this role will afford you interaction with a wide range of business areas such as procurement, sales etc and all areas of finance.To succeed you will need to be a self-starter who is interested in implementing efficient and effective controls and enhancing the operational performance of the business.Key duties include:* Ownership of the internal control process, performing ad hoc reviews of controls and processes* Responsible for compliance with the reporting requirements of the companys borrowing and leasing facilities* Responsible for compliance with the group delegation of authority policy and application across both systemised and manual processes* Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation review process* Support the preparation of the statutory accounts, external audit process and internal audits as and when required* Support the Financial Controller and CFO on specific projects as and when required* Experience of or interested to learn SOX controls.Experiences required to be successful:* Qualified, or almost qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA* Experienced in implementing internal controls* Excel and ERP systems literate* Work effectively with internal and external customers and always understanding the needs of all partiesIn return you will be entering an ambitious group who continue to win market share and are constantly innovating.Please reach out to for full details.
