Our client is looking for an Accountant with Financial Modelling experience - specifically we are looking for someone who can model the costs associated with providing a service to another company to ensure a profit margin.In addition, the company is exploring an increase to employee wages and requires someone with experience modelling the outcomes with knowledge of how NI, holiday pension etc is all included in the modelClient DetailsOur client is in the service sector located in Cambridegeshire. 2 days working in the office, 3 days from home is available.DescriptionThe Finance Anlayst is contracted for 9-12 months most likely and has key input to the following:Design and build costing models so that the company can provide services profitably. This will include understanding the services provided ( HR/ Payroll/ Procurement etc) and being able to determine the cost of the service.In addition, you will build the financial model to asses the cost associated with granting wage increases across different bands internally - to be able to do this you will have conducted a similar exercise previously.The company is looking to do a zer based budget for 24/25 and this role will lead on creating that budget.The role of the Finance Analyst is to undertake a range of finance business modelling projects and cost base activities, developing costing models for the delivery of service functions and activities to maxmise P&L. You will lead on the development of theannual budget, development of savings and transformation programmes.The Finance Analyst is accountable for making suitable plans, technology improvements, and handling finance-related activities, from planning to implementation and assure on-time completion of projects with an assigned budget.ProfileTo be considered for this position please ensure you meet the following criteriaQualified accountant or substantial experience in finance/ Qualified by experience (QBE)Experience developing Financial models, in particular focused on internal employee costing and broader profitability modelling for projects/ services.Experience building budgets, ideally zero-based budget.You will need to attend the office so living close to Peterborough/ Kings Lynn, Spalding, Boston, Melton Mowbray is useful.Full UK Right to work is requiredJob Offerwe are offering a long term contract 9-12months and possible temp-to-perm opportunity.Daily rate is £250 to £300 per day depending on experience.This position is otherwise known as:Finance Business AnalystCommercial AnalystFinancial ModellerFinance AnalystCosting
