Our client with offices based in Peterborough, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join them on a permanent basis owing to business growth.As Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned servicing, maintenance and call outs for industrial heat exchanger units and ancillary equipment including burner systems within the food manufacturing industry. You will also providefull commissioning support for projects & installations. You will have the chance to work on small stand-alone projects and support the projects team on a variety of duties.To be considered for this position, you will have a minimum of 3 years relevant engineer experience in a mechanical / electrical / process engineering role ideally within the food processing industry. It is essential that you are aware of Industrial GasSafety requirements, knowledge of industrial heating / burner & combustion equipment is also essential. You will also be Gas Safe Registered.This is a varied position that will require extensive UK travel and some occasional overseas travel to complete projects but this offers rewards with a good overtime rate that will pretty much double your salary potential owing to longer days and some weekendwork to complete projects.Excellent benefits package including company car / van for both business and private use and the chance to join and growing and progressive company.
