Hampton Gardens SchoolHartland Avenue, Hampton Gardens, Peterborough, PE7 8HR.Hampton Gardens is an inclusive secondary school, which opened in September 2017, to serve the communities of Yaxley, Cambridgeshire and Hampton, Peterborough. The school will eventually accommodate 1200 students in Years 7-11 and 300 Post16 students. The school initially opened with Year 7 students only and is currently at 800 students across Year 7 to Year 10 together with a small sixth form. The school will continue to grow year on year until it reaches capacity.Required for January 2021Exams Officer We are currently looking for an Exams Officer to assist with the administration and organisation of all external and internal examinations at Hampton Gardens. You will undertake a variety of administrative duties to ensure that all exams are conducted accurately and efficiently in accordance with Awarding Body, JCQ and internal procedures.We are looking for a strong administrator who has a high level of accuracy and a good eye for detail. You will be a team player with a flexible approach and be willing to undertake a variety of duties as requested by the Deputy Head of School.You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential along with the ability to work quickly and effectively with various systems.As part of this role you will be responsible for managing the arrangements for Staff Cover, using BROMCOM and liaising with the HR department to ensure the effective recording of staff absences.Working Hours:This is a permanent position of 35 hours per week, (term time only) with extended hours for 6 weeks during the summer exam season (May - June). 15 additional days to be worked during school holiday periods to support with exam results and training days. The role is 5 days per week, 7.15am - 3.15pm (with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break). During the summer exam season (May-June) the working hours will need to extend to 7.15am - 4.00pm (with a 1 hour unpaid break).Salary:Exams Officer (Grade 7)Full time salary (52 weeks) From: £22,183 to: £25,481Actual salary From: £19,082 to: £21,919(35 hrs / term time + extended hours + 15 additional days)What we can offer you in return:
