Job Description

ERP Programme Director (Hyrbid)£650 - £750 per day (Inside IR35) Peterborough, Cambridgeshire (commutable from Cambridge, Northampton, St Ives, Milton Keynes)My Client are an NHS Trust based in Peterborough and are seeking a ERP Programme Director on an initial 6 month contract basis (37.5 Hours) with the opportunity to join the team in the future.Paying between £650 - £750 per day (Inside IR35).There is an exciting transformation change programme already in place Smart Digital Care.The post holder will work to the Chief Digital and Information Officer and have support from within the existing IT Programme Management Office.Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in early stages of an EPR in other NHS Trusts.
  • Ideally MSP qualified.
  • Be responsible on behalf of SRO for delivering programme to milestones.
  • Work closely with external providers (ICS, Regional Digital Teams and Frontline Digitisation Engagement Leads)
  • Experience of managing stakeholders to ensure timely production of OBC, benefits analysis and FBC
  • Work closely with SRO and related teams to plan and monitor scope, including financials, deliverables, resources, work planning.
  • Work closely with other functional areas (e.g. Digital teams, CCIO, Finance, Procurement, Clinical Operations) to identify risks, opportunities and inter-dependencies, working to resolve issues arising.
  • Maintain programme documentation including:
    • Programme Brief.
    • Programme plan.
    • RAID log.
    • Resource management strategy and resource plan.
    • Quality assurance strategy and plan.
    • Stakeholder map and engagement strategy.
    • Communications plan
  • Produce regular reports for CDIO, Programme Board and Digital steering Committee to provide auditable monitoring of progress.
  • Assist CDIO/SIRO in risk identification and mitigation.
  • Communicate and build strong working relationships, especially with key stakeholders.
Qualifications / Education:
  • MBA qualification, or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
  • Masters degree, and additional in-depth professional training and knowledge of financial management, performance management, NHS regulatory processes and complex programme management to doctorate or equivalent level, acquired through training and experienceover an extended period.
  • Evidence of continued professional and managerial development.
  • Professional Registration
  • Relevant professional registration e.g. APM.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Track record of effective engagement and partnership working with senior internal and external stakeholders. Highly developed negotiating skills within complex, challenging and at times antagonistic environments.
  • Ability to analyse, synthesise and interpret highly complex data, filtering and interpreting often conflicting information, to develop Trust-wide policy.
  • Intellectual flexibility with the ability to cut through ambiguity and complexity and to shape and implement a vision that looks beyond existing structures, ways of working, boundaries and organisations to produce more effective and innovative service deliverymodels.
  • Independent self-starter, able to work with a high level of autonomy.
  • Strong drive for performance and improvement.
  • Proven strong written communication skills, in particular for complex drafting, and ability to produce & shape effective business cases. Highly accurate physical keyboard skills required for professional practice.
  • Highly developed listening skills and the ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships.
  • Sound political judgment and sensitivity when dealing with stakeholders at all levels, with a strong ability to influence where expert opinions differ and barriers to understanding and acceptance exist.
  • Flexible and resilient approach, able to work under pressure.
  • Team player, able to motivate and inspire.
