Job Description

Starting Salary £33,000 This role also has the benefit of a company van for business useLocation - Based within the Anglian Water regionFull Time / PermanentWater Recyclingis at the heart of ouroperations.The key services that we are responsible for aredelivered by ourin-house, highly skilled workforce. We collect and treat the water that customers have used, returning it to the environment via rivers andcoastal outlets. Our network includes 76,000 kilometres of sewers which feed over 1,000 water recycling centres.Whats in it for you

Your Role You will be primarily responsible for analysing and preventing alarm issues that contribute to preventing a timely response to events that result in pollutions. You will carry out in depth root cause on pollution events. Along with this you will also demonstratesound knowledge of pollution prevention techniques, collaboration with others and sharing of best practice and coaching others within Water RecyclingKey accountability:
  • Carry out site visits to check operation of critical alarms (i.e. high-level floats, overflow sensors, blanket alarms), ensuring level settings are correct and failsafe and that the sensors are fit for process.
  • Review alarm codes and bring codes in line with process.
  • Carry out in-depth on-site root cause on pollution events.
  • Identify lessons learned from pollution events and share lessons learnt at team meetings
  • Utilise the FFT tool to proactively identify flow related pollution risks.
  • Work with local teams to resolve flow related pollution risks identified.
  • Coach local technicians on pollution prevention
  • Deliver process training and embed lessons identified
Background and Experience
  • Exposure and understanding of the Water Recycling processes
  • IT Literate [Excel, Word, Office 365]
  • Experienced user of - IRIS and SAP
  • Organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Data handling & Excel spreadsheet preparation (good or advanced) i.e. use and application of functions, formula, links and data sorting.
  • Ability to present technical data in meetings and to stakeholders in a relatable way
