Our client are looking for a new Energy Co-ordinator to act as a key part of the Business Management Team supporting the asset management contractor and maintenance contractors ensuring a good working relationship exists between Housing Authority Partnersand the company.Based in Peterborough, this is a full time, permanent role with a starting salary of £28,000per annum. In addition, They also offer an attractive benefits package including pension scheme, holidays, discounted gym membership, life assurance scheme, Tech and Cycle schemes and an independent Employee AssistanceProgramme.What does the role involve· Responsible for the coordination of assets, projects and services delivery within the energy management team remit, ensuring optimum service is provided.· To actively manage the Companys utilities, including but not limited to billing, usage tracking and usage reduction initiatives.· To act as the lead for Solar PV asset management for the Company, and main point of contact for the Customer Queries.· To handle customer queries and complaints relating to energy management and solar services.· Ensure that reactive and proactive maintenance is undertaken in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner.· Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring the portfolio meets its commitments.· In collaboration with Project Manager, design, implement and manage an asset lifecycle management program.· Ensure high quality, effective service to homeowners, tenants, businesses and Housing Association on whose buildings assets are placed and act as stakeholders in our contract.· Ensure suppliers, contractors and asset management stakeholders work safely and effectively.· To act as the escalation point for all Energy management related complaints from individuals, companies and government bodies.What are we looking for· One of the following areas of qualification (or equivalent) (D)o EAL Level 3 or equivalento BSc (Hons) degree in building surveying or equivalent experienceo Fully conversant/compliant with NICEIC standards 18th Edition· Knowledge and experience of PV systems (D)· Knowledge and experience of energy management (D)· Membership of a relevant professional (D)· Understand the importance of and commitment to Equalities and Diversity (E)· Experience of working to high health and safety standards and protocols, and the preparation and evaluation of risk assessments and method statements (D)· Knowledge and experience of working with JCT contracts, Public Procurement Regulations, CDM (D)· Experience of managing and co-ordinating complex relationships with Clients, industry professionals and suppliers to achieve results (E)· Problem solving and troubleshooting skills (E)· Great stakeholder management skills (E)Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a persons gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
