Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for a new challenge within exciting renewable energy projects Do you want to work within one of the fastest growing green energy sectors on renewables, photovoltaic, solar projects This is a greatopportunity to join a well-established Oundle based energy consultancy working with some of the biggest clients in the renewable energy sector.BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000 dependant on your relevant experienceBENEFITS:· 5 day working week (40 hours) · Flexible and remote working can be discussed for the right candidate, due to site travel we are open to this role being hybrid · 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays · Employer pension contribution · Company sick pay schemeLOCATION: Oundle, Northamptonshire.COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Northampton, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Market Harborough, Kettering, Thrapston, Wellingborough, Huntingdon.JOB DESCRIPTION: Electrical Design Engineer - Solar, High Voltage, Power, Photovoltaic, Battery, Energy Storage, Power System, PVsyst, AutoCADAs our versatile Electrical Design Engineer, youll handle diverse tasks across various sustainable and renewable energy projects.Your role could include:· Designing new Photovoltaic (PV), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and High Voltage Power Systems. · Creating all drawings and schedules, conduct grid connection studies and feasibility assessments. · Site surveys and client meetings, offer technical support, produce reports, and manage projects from concept to completion.YOUR BACKGROUND: Electrical Design Engineer - Solar, High Voltage, Power, Photovoltaic, Battery, Energy Storage, Power System, PVsyst, AutoCAD· You MUST be an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, ideally with experience in Photovoltaic / Battery Energy Storage Systems (PV/BESS) theory or HV/Power systems. (both would be advantageous). · You MUST be a qualified Electrical Engineer ideally with experience of using AutoCAD and other PV-specific CAD tools (We use PVSYST here). · Understanding MV/HV AC distribution systems and project management / design experience in large/commercial-scale Photovoltaic (PV) installations is a key requirement too.THE COMPANY:Specialising in premier engineering support and consultancy services in the solar / Photovoltaic (PV) industry, we excel in diverse projects from small commercial systems to designing some of the UKs largest solar parks.As independent solar advisors, we offer specialised guidance in solar PV and various renewable energy and electrical engineering topics.
