Job Description

Peterborough area with with option of working largely remotely!

    • KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Demonstrable experience in a Data Analyst (or similar) role, ideally with more of a back-end leaning towards data manipulation & analysis.
  • Expertise in tools such as SQL and statistical packages like SPSS, SAS, etc.
  • Confident communicator with ability to convey data related findings to non-technical audiences and individuals, for example, farmers.
  • An overall passion and enthusiasm for furthering your Data career, with the opportunity to cross into Data Science.
    • ROLE OVERVIEW:As the AgriTech revolution continues to develop and grow this company, a prestigious and globally leading services provider in the space, has been investing into getting their Data Analysis & Data Science abilities on point, in order to deliver genuine value to customers by way of helping them make better farming & environmental decisions through the use of data.They are seeking a Data Analyst for a small but growing team - somebody who is capable of managing, analysing and interpreting large volumes of data derived from a number of different sources and relating to various activities in the Agricultural domain. This could include data relating to crops and livestock, environmental & carbon footprint data, financial data from the farming world and more!This is an opportunity to use your skills in a way that benefits the planet, as a large focus of the role will be in helping clients harness their data to become more environmentally friendly and efficient.We are looking for an all rounder with abilities in the back-end handling of raw data, as well as presenting data in a coherent manner to non-technical audiences - there will likely be a leaning towards the back-end side however. You will ideally have experience in a number of Data and Programming tools, in particular SQL and various statistical packages.Overall, we are seeking a capable Data Analyst already with demonstrable experience under their belt, who is passionate about the power of data for good and keen to progress their own career down this route!
