You will be working on a full time, permanentbasis workingMonday - Friday Days 08:30 - 17:30. In return youll receive a competitive salary of £21,881per annum.About us:Whether its fresh consignments or frozen goods we have it covered! Nagel Langdons can deliver to almost any location in the UK or Ireland within 24 hours. We have 9 depots and over 375 lorries carrying chilled and frozen food all over the country. The Customer Service Assistant role:Your role will be to handle daily enquiries and bookings from customers, ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered and any complaints are followed up and escalated where required.What youll be doing as our Customer Service Assistant:
  • Respond to all customer enquiries and ensure they are made aware of delivery and collection arrangements
  • Book incoming jobs onto company systems and allocate them to relevant depots
  • Work closely with Warehouse colleagues and customers to identify any discrepancies in stock movements
  • Assist with price quotations for movement of loads upon request
  • Provide cover for the Transport Team where required
What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Customer Service Assistant
  • Level 3 Customer Service or equivalent
  • Experience of using computer systems including Microsoft Excel and word
  • Ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
  • Experience of liaising with customers
  • Able to demonstrates an understanding of exceptional customer service

  • Ability to use initiative and to be organised so that key tasks can be completed fully and on time
  • Ability to work to set targets and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven arithmetic skills
