Job Description

Adecco are looking for a customer service advisor to join a fast-growing utilities company in Peterborough City Centre. This role is suitable for someone with excellent customer service skills who is comfortable speaking to customers over the phone.You will be responsible for answering and resolving customer queries and some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers in answering and resolving their enquiries in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner to ensure first contact resolution.
  • Proactively review customer accounts when they call, to identify and resolve any future problems before they arise.
  • Ensure complaints are treated seriously and ensure complaints procedures are followed.
  • Empathise with the customer where appropriate and ensure the customer always feels valued, treated fairly and properly informed.
Empathy and patience are essential to be considered for this position as you will be dealing with a high volume of calls from customers. The ideal candidate will be able to provide evidence of high levels of customer service and good work ethic.In return for the above responsibilities, you will be offered the below benefits:
