Job Description

Credit Controller Meyer Scott Ref: VR/08720Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experienceLocation: PeterboroughType: PermanentStatus: Office BasedOur client is a Norwegian-born telematics company, working with solutions for mileage claims, tool tracking, and equipment control. In 2020, expanding into developing mobility data solutions entering new verticals like insurance and leasing being the preferredmobility data provider for the B2B on a wider scale.Operating across Europe working from facilities in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, and the UK.This office-based role is based in the Town Centre of Peterborough. The offices are very modern, light, and airy. Our client needs the candidate to be proficient in Excel to an intermediate standard (not advanced) - and have an overall high proficiency inall MS Office applications. It is a very busy role and they need reports to be formatted and sorted quickly and efficiently.Duties:

  • Lead/Assist the department to move aged debt over to an external factoring agent down the line.
  • Chasing debt via telephone, emails, and letters to facilitate high level cash flow and keep aged debt to a minimum.
  • Set customers up on Direct Debit.
  • Invoicing and credit
  • Follow-up on our internal processes and
  • Communication with debt collection
  • Handle inbound calls; investigate and resolve customer queries, disputes, and issues.
  • Daily banking and allocation of payments onto the system.
  • Meet all the operational and financial performance targets and obligations, including delivering on collection and credit control KPIs.
Performance requirement
  • Experience using a factoring system and understanding of factoring would be useful.
  • Experience with high volume transactions.
  • Highly proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Excellent numeracy and administration skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative.
  • Positive and focused when under pressure.
