Job Description

Cost Reduction Project Analyst - PeterboroughInitial 12 Month Contract Hourly Rate up to £26.10 (Umbrella) £19.70 (PAYE)Key Responsibilities of the Cost Reduction Project Analyst

  • Key communicator for multiple projects including Product and Process Development. This includes the interface with Suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering and any other relevant areas in the business and ensure early supplier collaboration on design, manufacturability,assembly, cost, and quality.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of all activities associated with project delivery including cost modeling and validation whilst adhering to all internal business processes and maximize cost reduction opportunities.
  • Development of detailed component cost models and high level cost estimates in both the NPI and Current product arena.
  • Provide cost reports as necessary to support the assigned project and programs.
Qualifications and Experience required for the Cost Reduction Project Analyst
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience plus 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Presentation Skills and the ability to present business cases to senior leaders.
  • Experience with Teamcentre preferred.
  • 6Sigma Green Belt preferred.
