Contracts Manager (Heritage & Conservation Projects) Peterborough £65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Private Medical An exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a highly reputable, market leading business where you will work on some of the UKs most varied and interesting heritage and conservation projects for a stable, well run business who are well known to lookafter their staff.Are you a Contracts Manager with historic restoration and conservation experience looking for the next step in your career Do you want to join a large and stable company where you can share your passion of historic buildings and work on a variety of projectsEstablished 12 years ago, this main contractor who work on historical buildings, provide a range of extensive services on these projects. Their quality of service has found them great success since they first established, which is why they are looking to expandtheir dynamic and well looked after workforce with this new opportunity.In this role you will be responsible for carrying out site visits to survey and produce a scope of work. You will also liaison with all parties of the project to ensure the projects are running smoothly. Also, you will be supervising larger works and carryingout on-site audits to ensure compliance with health and safety and good working practice. another responsibility will be to provide updates and reports on progress of projects. Then finally, amongst other responsibilities you will be supervising direct tradesand sub-contractors from an approved suppliers list.The ideal candidate will have previous experience in contract management within the construction industry, specifically with working on historical restoration and conservation projects.
