Compliance Engineer Are you a passionate compliance engineer who wants to be a vital part of the launch process of an exciting range of 3D printers If so come and join our rapidly expanding team of engineers who are working on implementing the latest in 3D Printing technology into machines to make a wide variety of products.Key responsibilities of our Compliance Engineers include: - Take overall responsibility for regulatory compliance for all products- Experience in engineering and electronics applicable to 3D printers- Knowledge of product safety and compliance standards- Pre-compliance testing of hardware whilst in the prototype phase and subsequently taking products through external assessments and certification.- Preparing regulatory documents and submitting to agencies and third-party service providers.- Be interested in what is going on in the 3D printing world.- Generating and managing risk assessments of prototypes and completed products.Skills and Experience required:- Experience of the process of bringing new products to market- Regulatory and compliance knowledge including Machinery Directive, ISO 10993-1, ISO 13485, CE, FCC, UL, LVD, EMC.- Experience in electronics product development- Familiar with manufacturing best practices- Experienced using analytic and testing equipment- Conversant with CAD software- Proactive, positive and determined- Inquisitive and creative with a desire to learn- Batchelors/master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject- Genuine interest in 3D printingIf you would like to join our growing team and feel that you have the necessary skills and experience to become our Compliance Engineer please click ‘apply’ now!
