Job Description

Chartered Building SurveyorPeterboroughAboutAn amazing opportunity to join a large well-known real estate company as a Chartered Building Surveyor. This company are a highly motivated team of Building Surveyors, Architects and Technicians, with the role requiring you to take ownership of key projects,operating independently and as part of a team. They pride themselves on their culture of trust, respect, teamwork, collaboration, and motivation.The successful candidate would join this companys existing East Midlands region, multi-disciplinary Architecture & Building Surveying team, servicing both retained and consultancy clients. You would be expected to work across spectacular rural landscapes,towns, and villages, from pre-acquisition surveys and defect diagnosis to conservation, project management, and business development.Information on the role

  • Maintain and grow the existing client base
  • Contract administration
  • Building surveys and reports
  • Schedule and plan preventative maintenance programmes
  • Advise on appointing contractors, designers, and procurement routes
  • Preparing scheme designs, specifications, and schedules of dilapidations
  • Advise on conservation of historic buildings
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to
What wed like from you
  • MRICS, CIOB, CIAT or equivalent qualification
  • Proven & extensive building surveyor experience
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Knowledge of health and safety and building regulations
  • Cost management skills
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Full Driving License
