Job Description

Our local branch are based in Broadway Court, just a short distance from Peterborough Cathedral and Peterborough train station. Are you passionate about person-centred care Newcross Healthcare is actively on the look out for dedicated and motivated Care Assistants to join the team in providing one of a kind care to adults living with complex care needs in their own homes within Peterborough, Stamford, Bourne, Oundle, Corby, Spalding and the surrounding locations.If you have a NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care or working in a supporting role you could be fast tracked through our recruitment process. Your Position There are night and day shifts available for this role.As a Care Assistant, you will provide care and support to adults with a variety of complex care needs.In the role of Care Assistant tasks may include personal care, helping with social activities, aiding with clinical needs and assisting with any other additional services that will enable our service users to live their daily lives as they choose as independently as possible, in line with their personalised care Same day pay! Get paid through our exclusive Flexi Pay feature, which allows you to access up to 50% of your pay the same day as you complete a shift, even on bank holidays and weekends! The requirements
  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability
  • Certification confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months (or you are willing to book on to a Newcross Healthcare course)
  • You will need access to a smartphone or device - iPhone (5s or later), iPad or iPod touch compatible with IOS 8.0 (or later) or Android device with a 4.3 operating system (or later), with internet access to manage your rotas and submit your timesheets via our mobile app
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not essential
