Band 6 Locum Mental Health Pharmacy Technician – PeterboroughHunter Gatherer AHP have an opportunity based with a well-renowned mental health unit in Peterborough. The service are looking for a hospital experienced pharmacy technician to join the pharmacy department on a locum basis. The position is only open to thosewith prior medicines management experience at an NHS trust. Specifically mental health pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential for this role.The main duties of the role are outlined here:- Support the pharmacist in the provision of clinical pharmacy services- Undertake medicine reconcillation / assesment of patient medicine for newly admitted partients and document electronically- Order medicines for patients and ward stock- Support patient and nursing staff with self-administration of medicines to contribute towards promoting rehabilation in a professional healthcare setting- Liaise with community pharmacies in regard to admission/dischargeWorking hours are 9am-5pm w/ a 30-minute break – 37.5 working hours per week but for the right candidate, part-time work may be acceptable depending on experience.
