Job Description

The One Group are on the look out for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to become a key member of a leading healthcare organisation based in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to dive into a role and develop your knowledgeand skills along the way. The successful candidate will be studying towards their AAT qualification or equivalent and have previous experience in a similar role with exposure to the management accounts responsibilities. This role will see you working in a fast paced environment, andso excellent organisation and time management skills will be essential as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines.Your varied responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support with the monthly reporting process, ensuring accruals, invoices and budgets are completed
  • Working alongside FBPs to interpret monthly budget statements and identify variances from plan
  • Assist with monthly forecasting and budget setting
  • Support in the preparation of annual accounts and interim accounting processes
Within this role you will have exposure to wider finance responsibilities and be working with a range of key stakeholders, therefore your communication skills and ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships will be key.In return for the above responsibilities and traits, the following benefits are on offer:
  • £25,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Hybrid Working (3 days from office, 2 days from home)
  • 27 days holiday + bank holiday (rises after 5 years of service)
