Job Description

RNIB is looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant This role will assist in the preparation of annual accounts for RNIB Group, providing transactional support to enable stakeholder engagement.You will also manage and assist in the monthly reconciliation, preparation, and monitoring process and in the preparation of underlying Financial Accounting data for the RNIB Group.What youll be doingAssist with audit preparationReconciling monthly balance sheets and control accountsLeading on month end processes such as prepayments, accruals and journals.Refreshing and uploading budget and forecast templatesOverall you will be supporting the Financial Accounting Manager as required.What youll need to succeed in this rolePrevious experience in similar type of role in an accounting environment to include financial accounting procedures and financial practices for both income and expenditure transactions.Strong Organisational skills.Strong IT skills (in particular excel)Ability to work to deadlinesExcellent communication skillsIn returnWe offer a competitive salary, a stimulating and supportive working environment and a benefits package including:
