Are you an experienced Applications Engineer seeking a new challenging role with a growing organisation.Our superb client with offices based in Peterborough is seeking a qualified and experienced Applications Engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.As Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing customer enquiries, reviewing client specifications, producing quotations, supporting the sales team to be able to win new business, produce material and labour costings, prepare budgets andtechnical tender documents, attend bid meetings at customer locations worldwide, source and evaluate vendors and quotations, working to deadlines and liaising with a variety or internal and external sources, attending exhibitions, ascertain delivery timesand ensure productions plans are running to schedule. You will update the company CRM, work with sales tools and create technical drawings to support tender processes.To be considered for the role of Applications Engineer, you will be educated to degree level or HND in mechanical engineering and will have worked in a similar engineering proposals / applications engineering role.
