Although we do small works, we predominantly work on projects from £75k t0 £2m.We believe that staff are our biggest asset, so we invest in training and technology. We have a modern office close to the A1 and though we work hard, we value quality of life and like to have a bit of fun.About the RoleWe have an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our multi-disciplined in-house team, supporting the delivery of our vision for being regarded as the areas premier provider of turnkey services to our chosen markets.Ideally we are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant. However if you believe you have the abilities, but not necessarily the preferred experience, we will make considerations for the right candidate, so we would love to hear from you.You should have a sound knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel in addition to an excellent telephone manner and great communication skills. Most important of all is a can-do attitude and someone who is keen to learn, as the duties within this post are manyand varied. No week is ever the same!Key Responsibilities:The duties within this role are very varied and include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering the telephone and fielding calls, or dealing with the enquiries when appropriate
  • Taking responsibility for the company inboxes
  • Welcoming visitors and signing them in
  • Keeping our online systems for monitoring of tools and vehicles up to date
  • Booking tools and vehicles in for servicing/repairs
  • Issuing purchase orders for suppliers
  • Processing purchase invoices when required
  • Filing, both manual and digital
  • Copying, scanning and printing
  • Regular stock checking of stationery, uniform and office supplies, re-ordering when required
  • Processing dayworks job sheets
  • Assisting the HR and Administration department with ad-hoc tasks when required
