Job Description

We are working with a great brand in the local area, who are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a Fixed Term Contract 9-12 months. This is a great opportunity to join a very well established team. Initially due to COVID Regulations this will be a home based role.YOU WILL BE:

  • Working in the finance team, you will be responsible for the processing of all supplier invoices and credit notes to ensure that prompt payment is made. You will support with the creation and maintenance of supplier accounts.
  • Maintain the Invoices email inbox ensuring that invoices are imported to the In house system and all queries are resolved accordingly
  • Process invoices using the Intelligent capture system in line with the service level agreements.
  • Ensure that invoices are matched to the relevant purchase order in Proactis.
  • Create vendor accounts in the SAP finance system.
  • Amend vendor accounts where applicable ensuring that the correct procedure for GDPR is adhered to.
  • Perform other duties within the Accounts Payable team as agreed with the Line Manager
