Job Description

The One Group are recruiting for an Accounts Junior to join a small, yet buzzing firm within Peterborough on a full time, permanent basis. This is a newly created role, due to the firms huge successes in acquiring many new clients and this role will seeyou supporting this busy transition and servicing these clients long term.It is essential for the successful candidate to have previous experience within a transactional finance role, and ideally experience within practice, however this is not crucial.You will be working within a team of 10 experienced and dedicated accounting professionals and this position will see you in a varied, fast paced environment:

  • Supporting with payroll
  • Bookkeeping responsibilities including reconciliations and maintenance of accurate books on AP and AR
  • Building and maintaining long-lasting and trusting relationships with clients
  • Supporting with the preparation of VAT returns
  • Ad-hoc administration duties
Due to the large amount of clients, no two days are the same and so the successful candidate will need to be able to adapt to different situations/clients/queries and bring forward a personable yet professional manner.With modern offices and brand new clients joining the firm this is a very exciting time to join the business. In return for the above traits and responsibilities you will be offered the following benefits:
  • £18,000 - £24,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Hybrid Working, after successful probation period
