Pertemps are currently working with a leading client in the Renfrewshire area who are looking for a Payroll Assistant required for a busy payroll bureau within a Chartered Accountancy Practice.Your main responsibilities will include: • Working within the payroll team ensuring compliance with UK legislation and reporting deadlines.• On-going review of existing processes, delivering best practice in all areas.• Payroll processing for a range of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls.• Year end payroll processing• Administration of pension auto-enrolment processes• Developing and maintaining client relationships.• Management of client portfolio within processing deadlines• Drafting correspondence to clients / HMRC• Various ad hoc dutiesSkills required include;• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude• Excellent communications skills with a friendly and positive outlook• Excellent time management and organisational skills• A keen attention to detail• Have the ability to work as part of a team• Ability to work under pressure.• Good experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel• Experience of payroll systems essential, ideally Earnie/Iris Payroll and XeroTo find out more please contact Linda CurriePertemps acts as both an employment business and an employment agency.
