Pertempshave an exciting oppertunity for a Buying Purchasing Assistant to join a large company team based in Paignton.If you have previous experience with Finance, Sales Administration, Buying, and any Purchasingrole, this role could be a great next step or change in your career The role responsibilities:Support the daily operations by placing purchase orders, chasing orders, investigating issues and supporting improvements.Assisting with the purchasing of goods and services for the company, to ensure order coverage and deliveries of parts to satisfy sales orders and minimum stock levels. Place orders and check schedules in line with purchasing process Maintain the purchasing order book to ensure timely delivery of parts, contacting supplier to ensure deliveries are met Highlight potential issues in supply chain Support operations with stock control and stock takes to maintain system accuracy Create new part codes in line with new stock process Assist the Manager in department related tasksThe required skills: Proven experience with general purchasing process Excellent communication and organisationalskills Use of stock management system Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge in the Microsoft Office Package Knowledge of general supply chain proceduresThis is a full time role, 8hrs per day, Monday to FridayOffering a salary of £23,000 per yearCompany Benefits Include:
