Job Description

The school provides a high-quality and enriching learning environment for children and youngpeople aged between 7 - 18 that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). As part of this supportive school team, you will play a key part in providing a bespoke curriculum to suit the classrooms needs and abilities.Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing educational standards through the development and implementation of an engaging curriculum across all Key Stages.
  • Ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress towards individual and whole school targets.
  • Delivering outstanding teaching and learning across the curriculum areas taught.
  • Continually developing standards of attainment, achievement, and progress in the subjects taught.
  • Developing, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing engaging and innovative schemes of work for each year group.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Suitable education qualifications such as a teaching degree or degree and PGCE.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience of implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education that challenges students to reach meaningful outcomes for increased independence.
  • Knowledge of current curriculum developments.
  • Knowledge of child and adult safeguarding procedures.
  • Understanding of the principles of good curriculum provision.
