Job Description

This new organisation has one SEMH school and is expanding into new areas. They need 2 Headteachers. One in Warminster and one in Paignton for new schools.They are not looking for someone to impose or imprint their own successful model, rather individuals who will drive the established ethos and vision of this organisation.The successful candidate will have substantial experience in an SEMH setting. You will:

  • have substantial experience in an SEMH achool setting within the UK
  • be able to articulate your understanding of up to date, evidence-based practice relating to SEMH interventions and how it might underpin SEMH schools
  • know how to employ a range of evidence, including performance data, to support, monitor, evaluate and improve aspects of school life, including challenging poor performance
  • be able to explain the principles of strategic financial planning, budgetary management and principles of best value
  • be able to demonstrate their ability to develop and support staff
  • have a successful record of multi-agency working
  • Salary stated is approximate and the organisation will abide by the Headteacher payscale
