Our client designs and manufactures specialist products for subsea installations worldwide. They are a small but very busy company and are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to join the team. This position is through growth of the business, they are partof a larger group who are looking for this area to push on with their already achieved success.The Sales Engineer will need to provide a good, robust and effective technical sales solution to increase opportunity for the business. Job responsibilities include:- Maximise sales within their sector by using your technical and engineering knowledge and using the database - Being able to put together quotes and RFQs for bids whilst proactively chasing the bids and capitalising on relationships from this- Planning meetings with clients with clear objectives and measurable outcome- Liaise with other departments to promote new product development - Provide full and clear reporting on all sales and business development activity on a monthly basis.To be considered for the position:- Experience working within a civils/ marine civils engineering environment or transferable engineering principals from a different sector- Sales/ Business Development acumen- Worked in a customer/ client handling role previously- Strong time management If this position sounds of interest then please apply with your latest CV or call Gerry to discuss further.
