Job Description

Pharmacy TechnicianWorking Hours: Part Time - flexible to suit the ideal candidate.Location: St John Ambulance, Ossett, WF5 8LN (office based role)Salary: upto £28k to £35k dependent upon experience (pro-ratad if part time)This vacancy is due to close on the 31st December 2021. For this reason weactively encourage applicants to submit their application at the earliest opportunity.Recruitment agencies are not currently being used for this vacancy, however, any speculative CVs that are submitted may be considered, but no fees will be paid in this circumstance.About The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the governance and management of Controlled Drugs across the organisation, you will deputise for the National Medicines Manager as subject matter expert for medicines and you are also responsible for the implementationof first line audit processes within the National Medicines Supply Service.Closely working with the National Medicines Manager to ensure that the charity is maintaining an excellent governance and assurance standards, you are expected to actively demonstrate ongoing CPD, relevant to your key areas of practice in the governanceand management of controlled drugs.Please see the job description for more detail (this can be viewed on our website or once you click apply)About YouIt is important that the right candidate is a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist and registered with the GPhC. You will need experience in purchasing of medicines and related items as well as organising and managing medicines.
