Job Description

ParaplannerA well-established, family run IFA business has asked us here at Juice HQ to recruit a remote Paraplanner to their expanding team on permanent basis.Providing a back office, administrative service which will allow the team of financial advisors to carry out their day to day, client facing duties.This is a core role within the business, and will play a key part in the businesses growth and succession plans.Key Responsibilities

  • Research & prepare fully compliant reports for the Advisers clients, supporting the recommendations made.
  • Conduct annual reviews in line with SLAs
  • Consider the various online facilities offered by product providers and select the ones that would most suitable.
  • If applicable, review file notes and issue clear instruction of requirements to admin
  • Update and maintain the work-flow and AO activities as and when required
  • Work alongside the advisors, on advice strategies
  • Developing excellent relationships with providers and arranging /attending meetings as and when necessary
  • Limited interaction with clients
  • Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous Paraplanning experience
  • Understand the financial products and services available to clients and the ability to assess suitability in line with clients goals
  • Strong pensions / investments / protection product and taxation knowledge
  • Diploma in Paraplanning (with aspirations to be Chartered) or Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice
  • Apply the influence of taxation and other non-tax laws to the process of advising clients.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Superb IT Skills including MS Office
  • Minimum GCSE B grade in English and Maths
  • Personal QualitiesThis is a real team player role which will be central to a team of 3 advisors requiring you to be organised, flexible and adaptable. Being reactive is a key skill as the work required will be ever changing and often, coming from all directions. Being pro-active is equally as important.
