Company DescriptionJob DescriptionIf you’re looking to take the next step in your finance career, we now have a fantastic opportunity for aFinance Business Partnerto join us on a permanent basis.We are offering a hybrid working contract with most of your time spent working from home. You will be required to attend the Orpington office 4 times per month. So you must be comfortable and flexible with the commute and ideally be located near to the office.Country Choice is the leading provider of In-store Bakery, Food To Go and Foodservice concepts supported by a comprehensive range of high quality frozen, chilled & ambient products, equipment, on-site training and point of sale.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver solid and transparent financial reporting to the business with both standard material and ad hoc deep dives.
  • Build trusted partnership with business leaders to influence and support tactical and strategic decisions.
  • Create links between operational and financial performance, aligning priorities and goals across business units.
  • Support with general business controlling (e.g. understanding major deviations, reasons, and mitigating actions), deep-dives, reviews of key drivers of performance.
  • Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated, and timely.
  • Prepare monthly business review material etc. jointly with the business and relevant stakeholders.
  • Use insights from actual financial performance to develop forward looking statements and flag risks / opportunities versus targets/forecast.
  • Provide proactive initiatives and proposals to create more value.
  • Manage the month end process end to end
  • Line management of a finance associate
About you:You’ll be a passed finalist or part qualified, (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) currently operating as a Finance Business Partner, Management Account or Finance Analyst, looking to join a global organisation as part of your career development.We are looking for someone who has the confidence to deal with stakeholders at all levels across the business and to challenge decisions in a constructive way, offering solutions to any problems, always ensuring the best outcome is achieved. Using your financeknowledge and experience you will provide a vital service and partner closely with the team on risk and continuous improvement, so you must be able to hold a strong conversation with sound analytical insight. The ability to understand trends and results witha high level of competency in financial analysis and modelling is essential.
