Job Description

CashierMy client,a travel company based in the centre of Bromley is looking for a Cashier. This is an ideal entry level role for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.Salary £19KMonday to Friday: 9 -5.30PMAnnual Leave : 20 days per year increasing by 1 day each year up to a maximum of 25.Main Responsibilities:Banking• Input daily transfers / weekly payment runs• Maintain supplier templates in banking systemPetty Cash• Posting money issued in the AP & write up Petty Cash books.• Reconcile monthly cash on hand with receiptsTour Funds• Enter daily Travelex Card loads• Check daily Travelex report against postings that they match• Set up Travelex cards in system for new card holdersContractors Pay• Match contract & retention fees on bespoke system.• Check all tour funds are correctly issued• Pay Contract Fees by bank transfer, cheque or cash• Process bank payments on AP systemOther• Assisting the Finance Director with Admin duties• Posting commission payments onto AP system• Posting supplier invoices on the AP system• Ensure filing is maintained.• Airport transfer invoices are to be matched on bespoke system.• Run the AP Report monthly.• Assist with monthly uniform stocktake (counting of uniforms).• London Hotels: check invoices against statement & prepare monthly analysis of invoices raised• Perform ad-hoc activities for department supervisors or Finance Director as required.Requirements:The ideal candidate will be punctual, have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and enjoy working with figures. They must be able to work well within a team but also be able to attend to their responsibilities independently.Previous experience working in an office would be an advantage but not a requirement.Full training will be provided.
