Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an Account Executive to join a key innovator and market leader in the design and manufacture of control systems for the industrial and commercial burner/boiler industry. They have recently received their fourth Queens Awardfor Enterprise in Innovation 2022. Along with a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, you will also receive contributory pension, private healthcare, 23 days holiday, 5 personal days for emergencies/problems with childcare etc plus a death in service benefit. In return, they are looking for someoneto assist the International Sales Team in looking after and managing their existing customer base, whilst exploring new opportunities to push them further into existing and new markets worldwide.As an Account Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting market research to find suitable service and OEM partners in new and existing markets
  • Determining their requirements and providing solutions best suitable for their specific needs
  • Assisting existing clients on new and existing projects
  • Keeping existing clients updated with product developments and training
  • Managing client accounts, working closely with Senior Account Managers/Directors for learning, experience, and support
  • Familiarising yourself with the companys products to provide technical support
  • Logging all related activity on the company CRM
  • Deliver technical sales presentations as required
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the International Sales Team
We are looking for an Account Executive who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Italian speaking ideally
  • Ideally have studied mechanical or electrical engineering, or with some previous industry experience
  • A strong sales record within engineering or technically based industries is desirable
  • Someone who can manage and support sales territories and able to see the complete sales process from start to finish
  • Must be an excellent communicator across all levels of the business and able to present to Director level
  • Must be the sort of person that thrives on a challenge and will be responsible for the long-term growth and success of the company
  • Have a keen interest in the environment and sustainability
  • Must be able to work cohesively as part of a team and on their own initiative, possess a positive and enthusiastic character whilst always maintaining professional standards
  • A can-do attitude and strong work ethic is essential
  • Should have the determination to lead and progress the sales process
