Job Description

Security Manager - Shaw, Oldham (£11.51 per hour)Location: Oldham, ENGSalary: £11.51 per hourPosted: 03/12/2020Average Hours: 50 PermanentReference: LA/OldhamMGRJob PurposeWorking with a warehousing client, covering 3 sites within the Greater Manchester area the post holder will be responsible for the management of the security teams across all the locations. Team performances and standards must be monitored against agreed client KPIs.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the gatehouse, reception and warehouse security teams on a daily basis
  • Ensure that all relevant onsite training has been completed, especially regarding the completion of incident reports and site documentation.
  • Play an active role in the prevention and detection of stock loss through theft and shrinkage as well as assisting the fraud department with returned goods.
  • Ensure that all patrols, staff searches, vehicle searches and vehicles access & egress procedures are carried out in accordance with the assignment instructions.
  • Tackle and resolve any issues that may arise, or refer them to the client Manager.
  • Notify the client immediately of any problems that may arise that could have an impact on the services provided.
  • Ensure the welfare of security team.
  • Dealing with holidays/ Uniform requests by escalating and resolving as required

    • Experience Required
  • Managerial experience essential
  • Previous operational experience within the security industry
  • SIA Front Line Licence is required
  • Full UK driving licence essential

  • £11.51 per hour, 50 hours per week will be required. Flexibility required due to the 24 hour nature of the business
